  1. To upgrade from version prior to 2.0, you need to remove the /U switch from
  2. your Editor command line if you have one.
  3.  
  4. To upgrade from version 2.0, you must first restore your BBS.EXE from its
  5. backup (or if you have the source code, Un-Mod it) because macros are handled 
  6. differently now, and create a logon event if you don't yet have one (see
  7. manual if you need help on this) or install EDITINFO.MOD included in the
  8. distribution file).

  10. To Upgrade from version 2.1, just delete the MACROS.CMN file (it isn't used
  11. anymore).  There are a number of new command line switches, so please
  12. read the installation portion of the manual.

  14. New Features (from 2.1):
  15. - Spell Checker
  16. - Modification so that DEST: line always is correct
  17. - Vast change in internal workings
  18. - Support for WWIV soft carriage returns
  19. - Return to BBS's macros in a "safe" manner
  20. - Fixed one of the two problems with the chat mod
  21. - Added the rest of the WWIV "slash" commands except /SU
  22. - Added a redisplay key (^R)
  23. - Added WWIV's ^X
  24. - Added a top screen Toggle (^])
  25. - Color changes so that it display the header faster
  26. - much much more...
