  8.  Sound Card,DOOM2 version 1.9  . all other versions are unsupported
  9.  and your doom2 will get screwed up. If that happened, 
  10.  run Uninstaller names UNINSTDE.EXE
  11.  DO NOT RUN THIS FROM WIN 3.1 OR WIN 95.
  12.  Disk caching program installed (SMARTDRIVE) recommended.

  14.  HOW TO INSTALL (READ THIS ! )

  16.  unzip DES200.ZIP into your Doom ][ directory (it works with DOOM2
  17.  only).You're done !

  19.  HOW TO UNINSTALL (READ THIS TOO !)
  20.  go to your Doom ][ directory and run UNINSTDE.EXE to get rid
  21.  of DE...

  24.  How to use:

  26.  NOTE : DE may hang when ran first time on some systems.
  27.  
  28.  Once you're in Dwango, press F6, type DE and press Enter.
  29.  then press space bar to bypass title screen and choose
  30.  your settings.
  31.  Then click "Save settings" button and you're back in Dwango!
  32.  EVERY game you'll play after this will have these settings unless
  33.  you change them.If you want to join team that does not use DE,
  34.  uncheck all Extended features first and save settings.
  35.  You may also need to uncheck "Record demo" if other team
  36.  members are not going to record it.

  38.  KNOWN BUGS:

  40.  Once you unzipped it and typed DE it may hang on some systems.
  41.  But it only does it first time. Deal?

  43.  TROUBLESHOOTING:
  44.  
  45.  If for some reason program hangs during DOOM2 startup,
  46.  make sure your config.sys has STACKS=9,256 in it .
  47.  If that does not help, try running MEMMAKER or QEMM OPTIMIZE
  48.  if you're using QEMM.
  49.  And free up more conventional memory.

  54. This program does not need a huge description.
  55.  
  56. However, there are some highlights :
  57.  
  58. -1) It presses Enter during doom startup for you automatically 
  59.  if you use external WAD files. Fully automatized ! 
  60. 0) you can use this program in modem-to-modem and single player
  61. games as well ! Supports most DOOM2 shells (DeathManager etc).
  62. ( I could name it DOOM ][ EXTENDER as well )
  63. 1) get latest full version with Extended Features for $8 (eight dollars)

  65. free place on the screen for one more window ... ===-- ( old news,
  66. that was in 1.70, in 2.00 this space is already in use ! )

  68. 2) once you got it, you may use updates that will be posted at
  69. CyberGate BBS and ftp.cdrom.com
  70. 3) this program is "pressing reset during the game" protected.
  71. Unless you got some serious disk errors because of pressing RESET
  72. (disk errors are not my fault, use  NDD or SCANDISK) , no failures
  73. will occur.
  74. 4) Dwango Extender features UNINSTALLER which uninstalls DE completely
  75. in a couple of seconds .

  77. 5) Come on ! It EXTENDS fun you can have on Dwango and in modem-to-modem games!

  79. 6) (for advanced users : its not even a TSR so you won't have any troubles
