  2. This is your last chance to change your mind about aborting
  3.      the installation of the Strike Commander Speech
  4.      Package.
  5.  
  6. If you decide to go ahead and quit now, you will have to
  7.      start the installation process all over again.
  8. ::01This program is used to install the Strike Commander
  9.      Speech Accessory Package from floppy disks onto a
  10.      computer's internal hard disk.
  11.  
  12. In order for this installation to work, you must first
  13.      have successfully installed Strike Commander.
  14.  
  15. Please note the drive letter and the subdirectory that
  16.      Strike Commander is located.  This information is
  17.      needed to install the Speech Package correctly.
  18.  
  19. Also, you need a Sound Blaster or a Pro Audio Spectrum
  20.      sound card for the speech to be played.  You may
  21.      have to change the Strike Commander configuration
  22.      with the INSTALL program on the Strike Commander
  23.      directory for the speech to work properly.
  24. ::02The path you have typed in is either an invalid
  25.      path or does not contain the Strike Commander
  26.      executable file.
  27.  
  28. Please double check to make sure that the directory
  29.      given is the correct location of the game
  30.      Strike Commander.
  31. ::03
  32. You are about to finish running the installation program,
  33.      and it is terminating without properly installing
  34.      the Strike Commander Speech Accessory Package.

  37. Either some sort of error has occurred (which hopefully
  38.      has already been explained) which prevented this
  39.      program from installing, or you have chosen to abort
  40.      the installation.

  42. You don't need any help here!

  44. As far as this program can tell, you have just 
  45.      successfully installed the Strike Commander 
  46.      Speech Accessory Package onto your computer.
  47.  
  48. Congratulations!

  50. Now go and have a good time playing the game.
  51. ::05This window is asking you to put a certain disk in a
  52.      specified drive.  To do this, you should:
  53.  
  54.      1).  Check to see if any disk is in the drive already.
  55.      If so, take it out.
  56.  
  57.      2).  Put the specified disk in the floppy disk drive
  58.      slot with the label side up.
  59.  
  60.      3).  Press any key when you are done.
  61.  
  62. If there is an error, a window will pop up asking you to
  63.      either insert the correct the disk number, or telling
  64.      you that it has not detected a disk in the drive
  65.      (try inserting it fully in the slot for 3.5" disks
  66.      or securely closing the latch for 5.25" disks).

  68. This menu lets you select which floppy drive you are to use
  69.      to install Strike Commander's Speech Package.

  71. The floppy disks (although they may be in a hard plastic
  72.      casing, the disks inside are still quite floppy) that
  73.      come with the game are inserted one by one into the
  74.      selected floppy drive.
  75.  
  76. Please choose which drive you want to use.

  78. All the available logical drives are listed in this menu as
  79.      possible destinations for the installation of
  80.      Strike Commander.
  81.  
  82. Please choose a logical drive that:
  83. 1)  Is indeed a hard (sometimes called "fixed") drive that
  84.      is local to your computer--that is, no network drives
  85.      or tape drives.
  86. 2)  Has enough room available to hold the Strike Commander
  87.      Speech Package (approximately 25 Megabytes).
  88. 3)  Most importantly, already has Strike Commander
  89.      installed on it.  This program will not install the
  90.      Speech Package without first verifying that Strike
  91.      Commander is present.

  93. Please type in the directory that holds Strike Commander
  94. and hit return.  Example:

  101. The default directory is SC.  To use it, hit <Enter>.

  103. If you make a mistake, use the <Back Space> key or the
  104. left arrow key to correct your typing.

  106. Hitting <Esc> cancels this operation.
  107. ::09The installation program is moving Strike Commander's
  108.      speech data from the floppy disks to the hard disk.
  109.  
  110. The files are stored on the floppy disks in a compressed
  111.      format.  This program is currently decompressing
  112.      the files as it moves them.  To keep you informed
  113.      about what is happening, a progress indicator is
  114.      displayed to tell you how far along each file is in
  115.      its decompression.
  116.  
  117. You may abort the installation progress at this time by
  118.      pressing the <ESCAPE> key.  But be careful, quitting
  119.      this program before it is completely finished will
  120.      require you to start all over at the beginning again
  121.      to install the game.

  123. A drive error has been detected.
  124.  
  125. The most probable cause of this error is that none of the
  126.      detected hard drives has enough space to hold Strike
  127.      Commander's Speech Package.
  128.  
  129. Try freeing some space on your hard drive by deleting
  130.      unnecessary files.
  131. ::
