  4. If you like the board game Master Mind you love CodeCracker. The object
  5. of the game is to crack the computers code of 4 colors. You get 10
  6. tries, and the computer will give you a hint after each try.
  7.  
  8. CodeCracker has 3 levels of difficulty, sound bits, and a top ten list.
  9.  
  10. CodeCracker is available for Windows 3.1x, Windows95, and WindowsNT 4.0
  11.  
  12. Download ccracker32.zip for Windows95 and NT 4.0
  13.  
  14. Download ccracker.zip for Windows 3.1x
  15.  
  16. Installation
  17. ------------

  19. 1) Download the file and unzip the contents into a new directory.
  20.  
  21. 2) Follow your Windows manual on how to add icons to your program group
  22. or shortcuts in your start menu.
  23.  
  24. Windows95 and WindowsNT 4.0 ShortCuts
  25. -------------------------------------

  27. 1) Right click on your desk top and selecte New|shortcut.
  28.  
  29. 2) In the create shortcut dialog enter the folder where you unzipped
  30.    codecracker. Click browse to locate it on your disk. Click Next.
  31.  
  32. 3) In the next dialog enter CodeCracker 32 (or 16 depending on which version
  33.    you downloaded). Click finish
  34.  
  35. 4) The CodeCracker icon will appear on your desk top. You can then
  36.    double click the icon to start the game, or you can drag the icon 
  37.    over your start menu button to place it there.

  39. 6) Have FUN!

  44. NOTE: Since the following information may not be correct (I am depending
  45.       on my memory here). Consult your Windows manual or on line help if
  46.       problems arise.

  48. 1) Open file manager and locate the folder in which you unzipped 
  49.    CodeCracker into.
  50.  
  51. 2) Locate the file ccracker.exe. Click and drag the file into your
  52.    Games program group (or any program group you wish). You might have to
  53.    adjust the size of the File manager window to do this.
  54.  
  55. 3) Close File manager and double click the CodeCracker Icon to play.
