  16. This is a simple maths orientated program that includes a game that is
  17. aimed at primary school children and the younger secondary school child.
  18. The program started life as my A-Level Computing project and then the 
  19. earlier versions were used by my local primary and secondary schools.
  20. This latest version is the first general release onto the internet.
  21. The program is Shareware with a £10 or $15 fee to purchase the 
  22. registered version.

  26. System Requirements
  27.  
  28. The program needs a IBM PC compatible running MS Windows 
  29. with a SVGA screen using small fonts to run.  
  30. As the program was written in Visual Basic for Windows
  31. It also requires a file called VBRUN300.dll to run. This is available 
  32. from any Simtel mirror.  e.g. (ftp.doc.ic.ac.uk at
  33. computing/systems/ibmpc/simtel-win3/dll/VBRUN300.dll).
  34. This file needs to be placed in the windows system directory
  35. or the root of the floppy drive that the executable file is located in.
  36. I seriously advise running the program from a hard drive as this speeds
  37. up the program by a considerable amount.

  40. Using the program

  42. The software has a very simple point and click interface and the only
  43. time the keys are required are to enter the user's name or the answer to
  44. the questions attempted.
