The sultan is not built upon, the Ace and other Kings are built upwards in suit to the Queens. (Kings immediately followed by Aces) Any spaces vacated by cards placed from the divan on to the harem bases must be replaced by cards from the discard or deal piles before further cards can be moved to the discard pile. The game is complete when eight Queens surround the sultan.
