  4. UPGRADE INSTRUCTIONS

  6. A. If you have the UPGRADE.ZIP upgrade files for 2.1:
  7.  
  8. Unzip UPGRADE.ZIP to the directory that holds Pinochle 2.0.  For example,
  9. if Pinochle 2.0 is in a directory called \PINOCHLE, then you may use:
  10.  
  11.     PKUNZIP UPGRADE.ZIP \PINOCHLE
  12.  
  13. That's all!  No install or other steps are needed.  Note, of course, that
  14. you must have Pinochle 2.0 already installed for this to work.

  17. B. If you have the full PINOCHLE.ZIP file for Version 2.1:
  18.  
  19. Unzip PINOCHLE.ZIP to the directory where Pinochle 2.0 is located, then
  20. run INSTALL.EXE as indicated in README.TXT.  This is the same as just 
  21. installing the program as if it were new.
  22.  
  23. Note:  Do not delete the Version 2.0 directory, because the PINOCHLE.CFG
  24. file holds your setup information.  If you wish to install 2.1 to a new
  25. location, you should (a) install 2.1 as if it were new, (b) copy
  26. PINOCHLE.CFG to that new directory, and then (c) delete the 2.0 directory.
