  2. A card game for four people. Among common 
  3. games, it is most similar to Contract Bridge.  
  4. It is not as complex as Bridge, but requires 
  5. an hour or two to learn.  Many people who 
  6. learn Pinochle find it to be an exciting 
  7. life-long hobby.
  8. There are many variations of Pinochle.  
  9. This program plays Double-Deck Pinochle
  10. in one common variation, similar to 
  11. versions that are widely played in the 
  12. U.S. Armed Forces and many other places.  
  13. If you have learned Pinochle differently, 
  14. do not worry.  The basics are the same.
