  9. The global lottery phenomenon has shown without
  10. doubt that people are incapable of picking 
  11. random numbers as well as a computer.
  12.  
  13. On the other hand how many computer programs take
  14. into account the mechanics by which lottery numbers
  15. are produced? .... None.. litle wonder that the numbers 
  16. produced by these programs bear little resemblance to 
  17. the sort of numbers picked by a real lottery machine.

  19. Picker is  program that uses the sort of mechanical logic
  20. used in a real lottery machine to pick numbers. Just
  21. like a real lottery machine, picker does not attempt
  22. to predict but simply bounces balls about until one
  23. hits the open trapdoor and gets selected. Unlike 
  24. other programs that magic up a set of numbers, with picker 
  25. you get to see the balls flying about.

  27. With the picker you can select the balls you want in play
  28. and how many of them you want the picker to pick. These
  29. settings are preserved for each session. Picker
  30. now allows you to set the release angle for the balls.

  32. A separate analysis module , specific to the UK lottery,
  33. is provided which allows you to identify trends in balls 
  34. drawn to date and use them to influence the choice of balls
  35. you want in play. I plan to do a lot more on the 
  36. analysis module.

  38. Although supplied as two executables, registering one
  39. program automatically registers the other.
  40. The registration fee is 10 British pounds
  41. but the shareware processing people only work in 
  42. US dollars so taking into account their small comission
  43. the registration fee for everyone is 17 USD.

  46. that simply email me a suggestion on how I might improve 
  47. picker, and as long as you are the first to suggest it
  48. I'll send you a registration code in return.

  50. The program will start to remind you to register 30 days after
  51. it is first used. Registration details are provided within
  52. the programs by pressing the "about" button.

  54. A secure online ordering facility set up through 
  55. Kagi shareware processing now allows you to puchase
  56. picker with any major credit card. Press the "Buy" button
  57. in the "about" window to be guided through the process.
  58. A few days after you have sent your order to kagi
  59. you should receive an unlock code from me.
