  10. GridinSoft Notepad  is designed to  provide the power and functionality 
  11. to satisfy the most demanding text editing requirements!

  13. Use  of the  standard  Multiple  Document Interface (MDI)  allows  many
  14. files  to  be  edited  simultaneously.    The  spelling   checker   has 
  15. dictionaries  for  7  languages,  and  additional  dictionaries  can be 
  16. created from word list files. Text can be dragged and  dropped  between 
  17. files, and to other applications. GridinSoft Notepad has a customizable
  18. tools  menu,  shortcuts  and  interface  styles  (skins).  Text  can be 
  19. automatically aligned and indented, relative to the previous  line,  to 
  20. aid block indentation. Print previewing, and printing with customizable 
  21. headers/footers.  GridinSoft Notepad has a built-in calculator that can
  22. evaluate math expressions.

  24. For  purposes  such  as software development,  GridinSoft Notepad has a 
  25. code  templates,   scripting  engine,   search commands   with  regular 
  26. expressions, support SVN code control. Sets of files  in a directory 
  27. tree  can be searched,  and text  can be replaced in all open documents
  28. at once. The output of user defined tools can optionally be captured in
  29. the built-in Console Window. This editor has a many other nice features
  30. for beginners and professional programmers!

  96. There are two version types to suite your particular need.
  97. The differences between both versions:

  99. Scripts Engine - Professional version of GridinSoft Notepad comes
  100. with a JavaScript and VBScript engine where you can run scripts.
  101. This allows for automation of routine actions such as creating
  102. backup copies, restoring, compiling etc.
  103. This feature is unavailable in the Home version.

  105. Regular Expressions - are a widely-used method of specifying patterns
  106. of text to search for. You can use regular expression engine only in
  107. Professional version.

  109. Code Completion - that means the editor will try to guess the text 
  110. as it is being typed.

  123. If you choose "Notepad replacement" don't forget 
  124. answer the "insert Windows CD" dialog so Notepad 
  125. won't be reverted to the original version.
