  17. This program replicates, or copies, selected files or complete 
  18. directories.  The replication jobs can be scheduled to occur at 
  19. certain times of day, and occur repeatedly at intervals measured 
  20. in minutes, hours, days, weeks, or even months.

  22. Requires Visual Basic Runtime v6.0 which can be downloaded 
  23. from http://www.karenware.com/powertools/runtimes.asp .

  27. Installation

  30. 1.  If you have not already done so, download and install the 
  31.     Visual Basic Runtime v6.0.  It can be downloaded from:

  35.     To install the runtime, execute the downloaded file, vbrun60-setup.exe.

  37. 2.  Execute ptreplicator-setup.exe.  
  38.     This is a self-extracting/auto-installing archive file.

  44. Once run, the Replicator displays a list of all previously scheduled
  45. replication jobs.  To create a new job, or edit the settings of an 
  46. existing job, click the program's "Edit Settings..." button.

  48. A job consists of a description, the "Source", or directory where the
  49. files to be copied reside, and a "Destination", or place where copies of
  50. files will be stored.

  52. Additional, a job can contain a File Filter, one or more wildcards that
  53. determine which files will be copied.
