- This program replicates, or copies, selected files or complete
- directories. The replication jobs can be scheduled to occur at
- certain times of day, and occur repeatedly at intervals measured
- in minutes, hours, days, weeks, or even months.

- Requires Visual Basic Runtime v6.0 which can be downloaded
- from http://www.karenware.com/powertools/runtimes.asp .

- Installation
- ------------

- 1. If you have not already done so, download and install the
- Visual Basic Runtime v6.0. It can be downloaded from:

- http://www.karenware.com/powertools/runtimes.html

- To install the runtime, execute the downloaded file, vbrun60-setup.exe.

- 2. Execute ptreplicator-setup.exe.
- This is a self-extracting/auto-installing archive file.

- Use
- ---
- Once run, the Replicator displays a list of all previously scheduled
- replication jobs. To create a new job, or edit the settings of an
- existing job, click the program's "Edit Settings..." button.

- A job consists of a description, the "Source", or directory where the
- files to be copied reside, and a "Destination", or place where copies of
- files will be stored.

- Additional, a job can contain a File Filter, one or more wildcards that
- determine which files will be copied.
