  4. LinkAlarm scans are run after each public release of Cocoon
  5. to detect any issues that need to be addressed prior to the
  6. next release.

  8. The LinkAlarm report gives detailed HTML views of the situation
  9. in an easy-to-read style. However, the summary file that is
  10. explained below has concise info about the actual broken links.

  12. One other LinkAlarm page that is of special interest is the
  13. "mailto:" validation page (those errors are not included in
  14. the summary listing below).

  16. To facilitate the management of link mending by the Cocoon
  17. community, there is a summary file in the HEAD CVS at
  18.  documentation/xdocs/plan/linkalarm-broken.txt
  19. This tab-delimited file has the following format ...

  23. where "status" has these codes ...
