  7.  This  is  an application for real time monitoring of users activities
  8.  on   network   computers   and   for  employees  work  time  tracking.
  9.  Administrators   can  view  typing  keystrokes  in  real  time,  take
  10.  snapshots  of  the  remote  screen at will, view all running programs
  11.  and  monitor  when  user  switches  between them, copy any files from
  12.  remote PC, view visited web site, terminate processes, control computers
  13.  remotely.
  14.  User's activities can be stored in log file on the remote workstation,
  15.  which can be downloaded later manually or by schedule. Log files 
  16.  can be combined and exported to  many  useful  formats to get reports 
  17.  on how much time users spend  with particular applications, which programs 
  18.  they run with screenshots and keystrokes, what websites they visit, etc.

  47.  INSTALLATION NOTES:

  49. First extract files from zip-archive amonitor.zip:
  50.  
  51. amagent30.exe
  52. - Activity Monitor Agent. Install it on the remote computers.
  53.   Runs on Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP
  54.   Can be installed remotely from Activity Monitor if both computers
  55.   are Windows NT/2000/XP. Click File->Install Agent in AM.
  56.   To install in silent mode run with the following command line parameters:
  57.   /VERYSILENT - do not show user interface. Just install with all default options
  58.   /OldPsw=xxx - old Agent password. Required for reinstalling Agent
  59.   /NewPsw=xxx - set this Agent password. Required for monitoring this Agent,
  60.                 uninstalling or reinstalling
  61.   /DIR="x:\dirname" - directory to install Agent. By default it is installed
  62.                       to Program Files\AMSys
  63.   /NORESTART - instructs setup not to reboot computer even if it's necessary
  64.

  67. - Activity Monitor Install it on your computer to
  68.   monitor users. Runs on Windows 98/NT/2000/XP

  70.   Warning!  If  you  have previous versions of Activity Monitor
  71.   you have to reinstall both Monitor and Agent portions.
  72.   Requires TCP IP protocol to be installed on user's and your PC.
  73.   Used TCP IP port numbers: 15163, 15164, 15165, 15166. 
  74.   They should be free and not blocked by firewall.
  75.   For evaluation purposes you may want to install Agent on the same
  76.   computer as the Activity Monitor itself. You may install Agent on the 
  77.   remote computer as well.

  174. - Offline logging. Logging engine runs on the remote computers all
  175.   the time, even if you are not connected to it. It logs all
  176.   keystrokes and programs activations with time stamps.
  177.   Also it takes screenshots in specified period of time and saves
  178.   them to the local or shared location. When you connect to this
  179.   remote computer with Activity Monitor, you may download those logs and
  180.   screenshots to the local workstation.
  181. - Log export. It is available to export downloaded log files to
  182.   MS Excel for detailed analisys, to HTML files with embedded
  183.   screenshots, to delimited text file for further import to any database.
  184.   All exports are based on tamplates, so you can easily customize
  185.   the look of resulting files.
  186. - Download files. Download any files from the remote workstation.
  187. - Foreground application tab added. When user on the remote workstation
  188.   activates one or another application, it is added to the list with
  189.   time stamp. So you may see user's activity history.
  190. - Active application name is added to the Keystrokes tab, so you can
  191.   see where user types a text now.

  196. - StealthWatcher 2000 is now works with most European languages.
  197.   The bug, when user could not type accented charecters on computer
  198.   with StealthWatcher Agent installed, has been fixed.

  200.   some computers on LAN, when TCP IP routing has been used. Now this
  201.   bug is fixed. StealthWatcher 2000 should work in most networks.
