  4. -DPARAM:
  5.  |
  6.   -dparam.com    Tool for the determination of disk parameters
  7.  
  8. -EXT2TOOL:     Linux filesystem tools for DOS. You can read ext2-
  9.                  partitions from DOS with these tools. The programs need 
  10.                  the GO32 DOS extender in order to be executable.
  11.  
  12.   E2CAT          similar to Linux cat command
  13.   E2CD           similar to Linux cd command
  14.   E2CP           similar to Linux cp command
  15.   E2LS           similar to Linux ls command
  16.   E2PART         lists partitions on the harddrive
  17.   E2PWD          similar to Linux pwd command
  18.  
  19. -FIPS:
  20.  |
  21.   -fips.exe     Use this tool to change the size of DOS partitions 
  22.                 (only primary partitions). This can be used to create 
  23.                 space for a Linux partition ;-) 
  24.                 Two versions are available : fips15 and fips20. If you 
  25.                 don't have a FAT32 partitions, it is recommended to use 
  26.                 fips15. That version proved to be reliable for a long 
  27.                 time. So far we received only a few (although very 
  28.                 positive) comments on fips20. For further information 
  29.                 please read the file InfoSuSE in the fips directory as 
  30.                 well as fips.doc in the corresponding subdirectory.

  32. -GTAR109:    The GNU tar program (for Linux files). Source code is 
  33.  |              included. The documentation for the large number of 
  34.   -tar.exe      command line options of this program is available in  
  35.                 tar.txt .
  36.  
  37. -GZIP:          The GNU compression utility (for Linux files). It is 
  38.  |              intended to be a replacement for 'compress┤. Compression 
  39.   - gzip.exe    rates are usually much better than for 'compress'.  For 
  40.                 further information read the files readme and gzip.doc 
  41.                 in the same directory.

  43. -LOADLIN:       The Linux loader for DOS. Also this tool may only be 
  44.  |              started in the Real Mode, not under Win95. In the file 
  45.   - loadlin.exe    linux.bat an example on how to call this program is 
  46.                 shown. For further information please read the file 
  47.                 manual.txt in /loadlin/doc.

  49. -LTOOLS:        A set of programs for DOS, Windows 3.x/9.x and Windows NT
  50.  |              to read and write on linux (ext2) partitions.

  52. -PKUNZIP:       Well-known DOS tool for the unpacking of files.

  55. -PUTTY:         Putty is a free implementation of Telnet and SSH for
  56.  |              Win32 platforms, written and maintained primarily by
  57.  |              Simon Tatham.

  61. -RAWRITE:       Writing (linux-)image files to a floppy (versions 1.2, 
  62.  |-rawrite.exe  1.3). Writes directly to the discette. All data on the 
  63.                 discette will be overwritten and can't be recovered 
  64.                 afterwards ! This tool is necessary to create Linux boot 
  65.                 disks under DOS. For further information, please read 
  66.                 rawrite.doc .

  68. -RAWWRITEWIN:      Writing (linux-)image files to a floppy. Writes directly
  69.  |                 to the discette. All data on the discette will be overwritten
  70.   -rawwritewin.exe and can't be recovered afterwards ! This tool is necessary to
  71.                    create Linux boot disks under Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP.

  73. -UNTGZ:         Fast tool for the unpacking of .TAR and .TGZ archives for
  74.                 all MS platforms and OS/2 . The tool automatically
  75.                 generates valid DOS names for the unpacked files.
  76.  
  77. -VNC:        The Win32 version of the VNC package (VNC = Virtual 
  78.                 Network Computing). With this package it is possible to
  79.                 start a kind of virtual X server and to access it from 
  80.                 another machine (independant from the hardware platform).
  81.                 The package is packed with TAR.
  82.  
  83. -XFS186:        NFS client for DOS (shareware). For devices compatible to 
  84.                 NEx000-cards it is sufficient to call xfs.bat in order 
  85.                 to connect the system to the network. Documentation is 
  86.                 available in the file xfs.txt.

  88. -XFS32-11:      NFS client for Win* (shareware). This is the Windows 
  89.  |              version of XFS186 .
  90.   -setup.exe    Setup utlity for XFS32-11
  91.  
  92. -WEIRDX:        GPL X-Server written in Java which can be used as Applet
  93.         and as application
  94.  
  95. -ZIPZP715:      ZipZap - LowLevel disk editor (shareware). You can write 
  96.  |              to, read from and search on the disk with this tool.
  97.   -zipzap71.exe See zipzap71.doc in the same directory for further 
  98.                 information.
