- -EXT2TOOL: Linux filesystem tools for DOS. You can read ext2-
- partitions from DOS with these tools. The programs need
- the GO32 DOS extender in order to be executable.

- E2CD similar to Linux cd command
- E2CP similar to Linux cp command
- E2LS similar to Linux ls command
- E2PART lists partitions on the harddrive

- -fips.exe Use this tool to change the size of DOS partitions
- (only primary partitions). This can be used to create
- space for a Linux partition ;-)
- Two versions are available : fips15 and fips20. If you
- don't have a FAT32 partitions, it is recommended to use
- fips15. That version proved to be reliable for a long
- time. So far we received only a few (although very
- positive) comments on fips20. For further information
- please read the file InfoSuSE in the fips directory as
- well as fips.doc in the corresponding subdirectory.

- -GTAR109: The GNU tar program (for Linux files). Source code is
- | included. The documentation for the large number of
- -tar.exe command line options of this program is available in
- tar.txt .

- -GZIP: The GNU compression utility (for Linux files). It is
- | intended to be a replacement for 'compress┤. Compression
- - gzip.exe rates are usually much better than for 'compress'. For
- further information read the files readme and gzip.doc
- in the same directory.

- -LOADLIN: The Linux loader for DOS. Also this tool may only be
- | started in the Real Mode, not under Win95. In the file
- - loadlin.exe linux.bat an example on how to call this program is

- -LTOOLS: A set of programs for DOS, Windows 3.x/9.x and Windows NT
- | to read and write on linux (ext2) partitions.

- -PKUNZIP: Well-known DOS tool for the unpacking of files.

- -UNTGZ: Fast tool for the unpacking of .TAR and .TGZ archives for
- all MS platforms and OS/2 . The tool automatically
- generates valid DOS names for the unpacked files.

- -VNC: The Win32 version of the VNC package (VNC = Virtual
- Network Computing). With this package it is possible to
- start a kind of virtual X server and to access it from
- another machine (independant from the hardware platform).
- The package is packed with TAR.

- -XFS186: NFS client for DOS (shareware). For devices compatible to
- NEx000-cards it is sufficient to call xfs.bat in order
- to connect the system to the network. Documentation is
- available in the file xfs.txt.

- -XFS32-11: NFS client for Win* (shareware). This is the Windows
- | version of XFS186 .

- -WEIRDX: GPL X-Server written in Java which can be used as Applet

- -ZIPZP715: ZipZap - LowLevel disk editor (shareware). You can write
- | to, read from and search on the disk with this tool.
