  27.    To run Communicator, you MUST have Windows 95 or later.
  28.  
  29.    To obtain a copy of Netscape Communicator, download one of the
  30.    self-extracting executable files into a temporary directory.

  32.    For Communicator Base:
  33.    cb32d474.exe (standard installation with 128-bit (domestic) encryption)

  35.    For Communicator Complete:
  36.    cc32d474.exe (includes multimedia plug-ins with 128-bit (domestic) 
  37.    encryption)

  39.    To start the installation process, double-click the self-extracting 
  40.    file.

  42. * If you are using any version of Communicator prior to 4.74, you will get 
  43.   multiple uninstall entries in the Add/Remove program (located in the Control 
  44.   Panel). To avoid these multiple entries, uninstall your previous version of 
  45.   Communicator before you install the new release.

  47. * The Netscape Audio Plug-in only works if you have a sound
  48.   card installed and configured properly.  This plug-in does not work
  49.   with the PC speaker driver. To configure the sound card, check the 
  50.   documentation that came with your sound card.
  51.  
  52. * If you previously installed CoolTalk Watchdog, you need to
  53.   uninstall the Communicator version you have and restart your 
  54.   system before installing Communicator 4.74. You might experience 
  55.   problems running Cooltalk with Matrox MGA Millennium graphic
  56.   adapters using early Windows 95 drivers. Make sure that you are
  57.   running version 2.22.039 or later.

  59. * If you uninstalled an earlier version of Communicator, it's a good idea to 
  60.   restart your system before installing the latest version of Communicator. 
  61.   Restarting deletes old Communicator files that may exist.
