In addition to the 'Pause' sign appearing, you'll see a counter OSD just below this. This counter indicates how far the paused video is away from the 'live'.

You can resume watching the programme at any time by hitting <b>P</b> again on your keyboard or using the remote control or the media controls
detailed below under 'Controlling the Playback'.

You can even randomly search through the recorded parts of the paused programme and resume watching from any point you want by dragging the pointer in the
media player window (see <a href='../media/Media Player - Media Player Interface.htm#4'>Searching for a Scene</a>).

All the time the media controls are shown you are consuming disk space - even if you have restarted watching the programme. To stop streaming to disk,
hit the <b>S</b> key or <b>Stop</b> on your remote to resume live television after watching your programme.
<b>Tip:</b> If you use Fast Forward on your paused programme, DigiTV will automatically return back to Live TV mode when the playback has caught up with the live
