  12.   Live video is by its very definition 'Live'. In other words you see what is being broadcast at that very moment in time.
  13.   <br><br>
  14.   How many times however has the doorbell or the phone rung just as you're halfway through your favourite programme? It would 
  15.   certainly be nice just to be able to hit the 'Pause' button and resume watching when the disturbance has gone away.

  17.   With DigiTV that's exactly what you can do.
  18.   <br><br>
  19.   DigiTV uses your computer's hard disk to store live information when it makes a video recording, so it can do the same for live 
  20.   broadcasts too. If you want to pause a live transmission, just hit the <b>P</b> key on your keyboard (or the <b>Pause</b> key on your remote control)
  21.   and the programme will pause.

  28.       You will be able to tell that DigiTV has entered Live Pause mode because this text will be displayed in the top right of the window:

  35.   In addition to the 'Pause' sign appearing, you'll see a counter OSD just below this. This counter indicates how far the paused video is away from the 'live'.

  37.   You can resume watching the programme at any time by hitting <b>P</b> again on your keyboard or using the remote control or the media controls
  38.   detailed below under 'Controlling the Playback'.

  41.   You can even randomly search through the recorded parts of the paused programme and resume watching from any point you want by dragging the pointer in the
  42.   media player window (see <a href='../media/Media Player - Media Player Interface.htm#4'>Searching for a Scene</a>).

  44.   All the time the media controls are shown you are consuming disk space - even if you have restarted watching the programme. To stop streaming to disk,
  45.   hit the <b>S</b> key or <b>Stop</b> on your remote to resume live television after watching your programme.
