  6. With IBM Internet Connection Services, the wealth of information found on the Internet

  16. To install the IBM Global Network (IGN) from your SmartSuite CD, please follow the steps 
  17. listed below:

  19. 1.  Insert the SmartSuite CD in the appropriate drive.
  20. 2.  Choose Start - Run from the Windows taskbar.
  21. 3.  Type x:\extra\internet\ign\setup (where x is the letter of your CD-ROM drive).
  22. 4.  Click OK.
  23.     Please be sure to read the Program License Agreement before continuing the installation.
  24. 5.  Follow the installation instructions that appear on the screen.
  25. 6.  Click on YES, I WANT TO SET UP AN INTERNET ACCOUNT.
  26. 7.  Click on I WOULD LIKE TO OPEN A PERSONAL ACCOUNT.
  27.     Please provide all of the information requested about your computer and where you live.
  28. 8.  You will connect to the IBM Global Network and be prompted to complete your registration 
  29.     online using your web browser.
  30. 9.  Select the service plan and personal ID that best suits your needs.
  31. 10. You will receive an ACCOUNT ID, USER ID, and PASSWORD.  Be sure to record this information
  32.     and store them in a safe place.
  33. 11. Your computer is now setup to connect to the Internet.

  36. and have a major credit card ready.
