  3. Welcome to PictureWorks PhotoCatalog! Please read this document 
  4. for the latest information about your new software.

  6. Tips and Tricks:
  7.  
  8. * On some systems, accessing a CD-ROM drive without a CD in the 
  9.   drive will cause a system fault. The error will not occur until  
  10.   an actual image is opened from the catalog or file open menu 
  11.   selection. When opening images stored on a CD-ROM, be sure to put 
  12.   the CD in the drive.
  13.  
  14. * PhotoCatalog can conduct copy and paste commands only on documents 
  15.   of the same type.  For example, images can not be copied from a catalog 
  16.   and pasted to a slide show.
  17.  
  18. * The File Find operation is not a background action. PhotoCatalog 
  19.   cannot be minimized while performing a File Find. 
  20.  
  21. * The File Find by File Size operation uses absolute values. The use
  22.   of "Kb" or "Mb" for kilobytes and megabytes will not be accepted.  
  23.   The absolute size sought must be entered.
  24.  
  25. * If the PhotoCatalog application is removed from a Windows 95 system 
  26.   using the Control Panel Software Install/Remove option, the system 
  27.   will need to be restarted before the program items are removed from 
  28.   the Taskbar.
