  138.       Each path belongs to one image: paths are components of images just
  139.       like layers. The Paths dialog shows you a list of all paths belonging
  140.       to the currently active image: switching images causes the dialog to
  141.       show a different list of paths. If the Paths dialog is embedded in a
  142.       ‚Äú<span class="quote">Layers, Channels, and Paths</span>‚Äù dock, you can see the name
  143.       of the active image in the Image Menu at the top of the dock.

  563.             the <span class="guilabel">Selection to Path</span> button at the
  564.             bottom of the Paths dialog.  This brings up the Advanced
  565.             Options dialog, which allows you to set 20 different options
  566.             and variables, all with cryptic names.  The Advanced Options
  567.             are really intended for developers only, and help with them
  568.             goes beyond the scope of this documentation.  Generally
  569.             speaking, <span class="guilabel">Selection to Path</span> will do
  570.             what you expect it to, and you don't need to worry about how
  571.             it is done (unless you want to).
