  66.     template with the same dimensions and color space as the current
  67.     image. A dialog pops up, which asks you to
  68.     name the new template, then the template is saved and becomes
  69.     available in the <a class="link" href="gimp-file-new.html" title="5.2.¬† New">New Image</a>
  70.     dialog.  If you give a name that already exists,
  71.     <acronym class="acronym">GIMP</acronym> generates a unique name
  72.     by appending a number to it.  You can use the
