  1. This xf86-video-nv driver package contains support for the NVIDIA GeForce 8
  2. series of graphics processors.

  4. There are a few caveats of which to be aware:
  5.  - The XVideo extension is not supported.
  6.  - The RENDER extension is not accelerated by this driver.
  7.  
  8. Bugs should be reported at http://bugs.freedesktop.org/ under the "xorg"
  9. product, "Driver/nVidia (open)" component.  Please be sure to fill out the
  10. platform, OS, and severity fields.  Also attach a copy of your Xorg log file and
  11. provide a detailed description of your problem and how to reproduce it.
