  4. Smooth scrolling issue

  7. Debian bug #276070 complains that smooth-scrolling is obnoxious and slow.
  8. As of 2.6.3-1, it has been disabled by default using a patch. However, if
  9. you are a previous AbiWord user, your preferences file may have the smooth
  10. scroll setting set to true in your config file, overriding the default.

  12. To fix this, I quote from the AbiWord ML:

  14. "I think you can turn this feature off with a profile change. Open up
  15. your AbiWord.Profile file and in the custom scheme section (<Scheme
  16. name="_custom_") try ading the following line:

  18. EnableSmoothScrolling="0"
  19.  
  20. Hope that helps :)."

  22. The profile in question is located in $HOME/.AbiSuite.
