  5. Thanks for trying out the LodeRunner2 Demo.

  8. - 5 levels from one world.
  9. - Ability to play as the Yellow Male Lode Runner only.
  10. - Single Player only

  13. - Over 75 levels spanning 5 worlds.
  14. - Ability to play as one of 8 colored Lode Runners, Male or Female.
  15. - Multiplayer Support: 8 player gameplay over a LAN using TCP/IP.
  16. - Many new objects such as the Cloak of the Mad Monk and Directional Bombs.
  17. - A custom level editor so you can build and play your own levels.

  35. You can configure the controls within the demo by clicking on "Options" from
  36. the main menu.

  40. NumPad 7 - Run NorthWest
  41. NumPad 9 - Run NorthEast
  42. NumPad 1 - Run SouthWest
  43. NumPad 3 - Run SouthEast

  45. Shift     - Drop from Hand Over Hand Bar
  46. NumPad . - Drop Bomb (You must have a bomb first!)
  47. X         - Suicide (In case you get trapped and need to restart a level.)

  49. NumPad 0 - Pickup/Drop (Not needed in demo)
  50. NumPad + - Use (Not needed in demo)

  52. A few extra keys that can be used in the demo:

  54. [Alt + \] can be used to skip to the next level.
  55. [Alt + Arrows] can be used to scroll around the level.

  63. Mouse Pointer Trails
  64. ---------------------
  65. If you are using pointer trails, you should disable them before running the demo.

  67. Task Switching
  68. ----------------
  69. Using [Alt + Tab] to switch out of the game sometimes leaves visual artifacts
  70. on the desktop or freezes movies that are playing. You should avoid using 
  71. [Alt + Tab] to task switch out of the game.

  73. Enhanced Multimedia CDs
  74. -----------------------
  75. You may have trouble launching the demo while running an enhanced multimedia CD.

  77. Slow Down

  79. If you experience any slow down, you may want to quit other applications before
  80. running the demo.
