For example, if you chose Books+Single volume+Basic, you would have only six fields to fill: Author, work, title, published place, publisher, and published date.&&\Bupdating\b: After entering data, to add the record to the datafile, you should click the Update button or the Add button, or select another record in the Catalog window.&&\BEntering references\b: Press the AutoCitation button. It will add a window pane that displays the citation forms. You can adjust the height by moving the splitter up or down. Scholar's Aid converts the source data into citations as you type. If the citations are not your liking, you can modify them. Scholar's Aid keeps the change unless you press the AutoCitation button again.&&\BEntering source information\b: You can enter information such as subject or abstract besides the bibliographical data by clicking the Inf (Information) button. &&\BSpell checking\b: If you have Word installed in your system, you can use the spell checker. Click the SpellCheck button.&&\Bauthors\b: If authors are more than one, separate them with ';' or CTRL-Return. (See examples below)&&\BNon-Capitalized title\b: If the source title is non-English, you should unbutton the CapitalTitle button with a C mark. The title will not be capitalized in references.&&\BTitle within title\b: Use the Titlebutton to mark the title within title. (See examples below.) You do not have to use " or title mark for solid titles.&&\BMultilingual source\b: Scholar's Aid can process multilingual title such as "Meaning of kair≤s.'" In that case, to make "kairos" "kair≤s," select the "kair," click the Font button with "FF" image, select "Symbol" font. (See Changing the source type.)&&If you want to cancel the adding, click the Cancel button with an X mark on the toolbar.&&If you want to use the data of a record for the new record, locate the existent record and click the Copy button beside the Anchor button. Then, click the Add button. The data will be copied into the new record, and you can modify them. As long as the button is down, the copying is occurred whenever the Add button is clicked.&&Clicking the label moves the cursor at the end of the field and activates InputAid. Clicking an item in the InputAid window inserts the item into the field.&&\o\n\c<blue255>\BViewing and Editing Records\c<>\b&&\c<blue255>Steps\c<>:&&\OLocate the record you want to edit or see.&&If you do not see the source data, click the Record button on the toolbar or double click the record in the Catalog window.&&\oIf you need to edit,&&\OEdit the data&&Click the Update button on the toolbar.&&\o\c<blue255>Description\c<>:&&\OEditing is the same as adding a record except that editing modifies already-filled data. (See Adding new records for more information.)&&Scholar's Aid automatically saves the edited record when you leave the editing by selecting another record in the Catalog window or exiting Scholar's Aid.&&Clicking the Cancel button (F8) restores the original data.
