  4.    Swift POS stores its data in three main databases,
  5.    the CUSTOMER, PRODUCT, AND SALES database.
  6.  
  7.    Databases are files arranged in a way that makes
  8.    access to the information quick and reliable.
  9.  
  10.    Swift POS gives the administrator direct access
  11.    to view, edit and maintain the  databases.
  12.  
  13.    The three databases can be viewed by selecting
  14.    either the CUSTOMER DB,  PRODUCT DB, or SALE
  15.    DB items under the VIEW menu at the top of the
  16.    screen.

  18.    In order to change any field in the databases, the
  19.    user  must  first  put it in edit  mode by pressing 
  20.    EDIT RECORD  button at the bottom of the data-
  21.    base panel.  While the red box is flashing,  the
  22.    items can be altered. The change is not written
  23.    until you move to a different record.

  25.    Caution should be used due to the fact that in-
  26.    formation changed or lost here can only  be re-
  27.    covered if it exists in the last backup.

  29.    To end edit mode simply press the  EDIT RECORD
  30.    button again or CLOSE.
