- [INTRODUCTION]
-
- Swift POS is an inexpensive software alternative to
- a cash register point of sale system. The software
- is designed to balance functionality with ease of
- use. Swift POS is also designed to use readily
- available, generic hardware. This benefits users
- in two ways, the initial cost of a store setting up a
- point of sale terminal is dramatically reduced and
- the cost of expensive maintenance for specialized
- equipment is eliminated. Below you will find a list
- of MINIMUM hardware requirements for running this
- software.
