  1.           Welcome to WaverlyStreet's "QuickRef Project Assistant"

  4. QuickRef is a project management, record keeping, and reporting tool which
  5. allows one to quickly and accurately see "where they are" on their various
  6. projects.

  8. The program records time and money, shows "to do" items, and also allows
  9. keeping a free-form note file on each project. You can use it in either an
  10. "individual" mode, or record items for any number of people.

  12. QuickRef can instantly print reports including:
  13.  
  14. - "Snapshots" on one particular project, showing the total time and money
  15.   invested, "to-do" items, plus project notes to date. Time and money may be
  16.   broken down by worker, if in multi-user configuration.

  18. - Comparative reports showing project time and money in relation to selected 
  19.   other projects currently underway. Select either all records, or just those
  20.   for one person.
  21.  
  22. - Project lists, including note and status fields.
  23.  
  24. Permanently archive records on closed projects, maintaining instant access for
  25. future reference. Mirror records on an office network so that several users
  26. may share information.

  28. QuickRef does not require that you conform to a new project numbering scheme.
  29. It will work with any system where the alpha-numeric "project number" does not
  30. exceed eight characters in length. If your numbering scheme is well
  31. structured, the QuickRef report section can be easily tailored to pick only
  32. certain types of projects, according to the placement of project number
  33. characters. (ie: report on all projects where the "n"th character is "x", or
  34. where the first two characters are "yz", etc.) The program also works equally
  35. well with completely unstructured project identifcations.
