  1. Redistribution requirements for Service Pack 4

  3. All files listed in this redist.txt file below are 
  4. deemed "Redistributable Code".
  5.  
  6. Microsoft grants you the right to redistribute the 
  7. Redistributable Code provided you comply with the 
  8. Distribution Requirements detailed below.

  10. You may redistribute the following files separately, 
  11. or together:

  14. sp4alpha.exe
  15. sp4symi.exe
  16. sp4syma.exe

  18. You may also redistribute the following directory 
  19. separately, or together with the above files:

  23. The following Redistributable Code file is designated 
  24. as a "Core File".  This file must accompany any 
  25. distribution of any other Redistributable Code.

  29. The Core File above must reside in the same directory as 
  30. the Service Pack redistributable code on the compact disc.

  33. DISTRIBUTION REQUIREMENTS

  35. Microsoft grants you the non-exclusive, worldwide, 
  36. royalty free, right and license to reproduce and 
  37. distribute an unlimited number of copies of the 
  38. Redistributable Code either for use in conjunction 
  39. with your computer hardware product or with your own 
  40. software product, designed to operate in conjunction 
  41. with Microsoft Windows NT, provided:  (a) each copy of 
  42. the Redistributable Code is a true and complete copy;
  43. (b) you require any installation of the Redistributable 
  44. Code to be made by running the self-extracting executable 
  45. file or files above; (c) you distribute the Core File 
  46. with any individual or group of Redistributable Code you 
  47. distribute; (d) you distribute your own software product 
  48. containing the Redistributable Code on a CD-ROM and 
  49. pursuant to an End-User License Agreement with terms no 
  50. less protective than those contained in eula.txt.  Your 
  51. End-User License Agreement may be "break-the-seal", 
  52. "click wrap" or signed;(e) you include all copyright and 
  53. trademark notices contained in the Redistributable Code, 
  54. (f) you do not distribute the Redistributable Code for 
  55. profit, (g) you do not modify the Redistributable Code; 
  56. and (h) you do not permit further redistribution of the 
  57. Redistributable Code.

  60. You must verify that you are distributing the most recent 
  61. version of the Service Pack.  Check our FTP server at
  62. ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/bussys/winnt/winnt-public/fixes/ 
  63. for the latest Service Pack version.  If you find more 
  64. recent versions of the Service Pack on the Microsoft FTP 
  65. Server, you may download such files for your own use; 
  66. provided, however, you may not redistribute any such
  67. files without first obtaining them on a compact disc 
  68. from Microsoft.
