  4. The Plain-Text Layer is the layer that displays the content of the text output
  5. file to be reformatted.  If the text contains more than one page make sure
  6. that you set Lines Per Page correctly.
  7.  
  8. You can crop any portion of the text by using 2 cropping objects:
  9. Text and Paragraph objects.  The followings are the sample text being cropped
  10. by using Both Text and Paragraph objects: (click on one of the objects then
  11. go to Design Layer to see the corresponding object on the Design Layer)

  13. Text Object:
  14. ------------
  15. Use this object to crop a single line text.

  17. -This portion of the text is being cropped by the Label Object
  18.  
  19. Paragraph Object:
  20. -----------------
  21. Use this object to crop a multiple lines or paragraph of text.
  22.  
  23. -This portion of the text is being cropped by the Paragraph object on the
  24.  Text Layer.  Paragraph object can be used to crop an area that occupies
  25.  more than 1 line of text.  It can be as large as the whole page.  Once
  26.  cropped, the content will appear on the Design Layer.  On the Design Layer,
  27.  you can move, change the appearance of the text by right clicking on the
  28.  object.

  30. * You can also crop only a small region of the text anywhere on the page.
  31.   Select one of the cropping objects below and go to the Design Layer to
  32.   see the corresponding objects.
