IrfanView 32 is a small but versatile image file viewer for Windows 95. It opens a multitude of formats, including .wmf, .emf, .avi, .ico, .dib, .rle, .pcx, .pcd, .tga, gif, .jpg, .bmp, .dib, .png, .sun, and .tif. Pictures can be saved as .jpg, .gif, .bmp, .png, or .tif graphics, so you can use the program for image conversion. You can instantly set graphics as Windows wallpaper or resize them, plus you can use a variety of viewing options, including rotating, flipping, and zooming. Files can be printed, deleted, copied, and moved from within the program, and 16-bit and higher graphics can be converted to 256 colors. You're not going to find a lot of bells and whistles in the interface, but image display is fast and vivid--perfect for associating with many of the graphics types on your system for quick viewing. IrfanView 32 is free to home users; a nominal fee is required for commercial users. This version has not yet been reviewed.
