This INIT causes the cursor to move to the default button of an alert, similar to the way that Sun’s Sunview behaves. It has been tested on a Plus, SE, SE/30, Classic, IIx, IIcx and a IIfx. This INIT is compatible with system 7. This INIT is shareware, so if you use it, please register your copy with me. Comments and suggestions are welcome!

- Center Alerts when System 7.0 does not (works on previous system version too!)

that you do not need to reboot for your control panel changes to take effect.

II. The INIT
Installed the INIT by copying it to your system folder and rebooting. It’s icon will be displayed at startup. With System 7.0 the file should be installed in the Control Panels Folder.
III. The Control Panel Device
A control panel device is included. Your computer must be rebooted for the changes to take effect. The options on the control panel are as follows:
A. Help
This option brings up a help window. The information is similar to this text.
B. Activate INIT
Clicking this box causes the INIT to be installed on startup.
C. Move mouse back
Checking this box causes the cursor to move back to the original location, after you have clicked a button in the alert. This option is more useful on large screens.
D. Center Alert Boxes
Checking this box causes alerts to be centered on your screen.
E. Show startup icon
Clicking this box causes the startup icon to show when your Macintosh boots.
