  11. control the modem hardware.  Your modem may require alternative commands
  12. to work properly.  You may change this file with any text editor as needed.
  13. Everything after the first seven lines is just a comment.
  14. The seven modem commands are, in order:                               default:
  15.  Escape code sequence; go from on-line mode to command mode.               +++
  16.  Initialize; echo off, numeric responses, minimal result code set. ATE0V0X0&Q0 
  17.  Answer immediately; for receiver, connection established mode.            ATA
  18.  Answer when ring detected; for receiver, no connection established mode.  ATA
  19.  Connect immediately; for caller, connection established mode.             ATD
  20.  Dial number; this command will be appended with the phone number.         ATD
  21.  Hang up.                                                                  ATH
