  1. This is the full/freeware version of Imperial Conquest 2, a war/strategy 
  2. game for Windows 95/98.
  3. As we prefer software not to alter our system files IC 2 does not attempt
  4. to install itself and makes no changes or additions to any part of your
  5. Windows setup.  To install it simply copy all the files to the desired drive 
  6. and folder, refer to your Windows manual or help-files for instructions 
  7. on putting it in the Startbar or on to the desktop.
  8. The files needed are;
  9. IMPERIAL CONQUEST 2.EXE  (the main program file)
  10. IMPERIAL CONQUEST 2.DAT  (the main data file)
  11. IMPERIAL CONQUEST 2.HLP  (the help file)
  12. IMPERIAL CONQUEST 2.CNT (the help contents file)
  13. and a folder of 10 wav (sound) files called WAVS.
  14. These 4 files must be in the same folder, this folder should also
  15. contain the WAVS folder.
  16. To uninstall IC 2 simply delete the folder you created for it.
