  2. WR-BBS is an easy-to-configure Bulletin Board System application, available on
  3. an evaluation-before-registration (shareware) basis.  With up to 26 file areas
  4. and 26 access levels, it is flexible enough for the "hobbyist" BBS, and robust
  5. enough for small business applications.   Although the initial release will be
  6. a single-node DOS version, the communications engine and database were written
  7. with the possibility of multi-node and OS/2 support in mind.  Up to 2147483647
  8. user records are possible (a practical limit is 1000 users, however).  Message
  9. and file description databases can also contain up to 2147483647 records, with
  10. the principal upper limit being the size of your system's storage.  Easy SysOp
  11. management screens are accessible locally or on-line.  Up to 999 bulletins can
  12. be configured, along with up to 26 doors,  26 external protocols, and up to 16
  13. scheduled events.  The W-TREE Database Manager is fully integrated into WR-BBS
  14. for rapid file access and minimal "dead screen" time (delays) for your callers
  15. when searching for records.  WR-BBS supports most modems at speeds up to 19200
  16. baud, including error-correcting modems. Runs under DESQview and other popular
  17. multi-taskers, and with DR-DOS, PC-DOS, and MS-DOS versions 3.30 through 6.00.
