- In this section, you define the mail areas of interest for Silver Xpress
- mail scanning. Bulletin boards usually carry a tremendous amount of mail
- areas (sometimes called conferences or forums). But Xpress allows you to
- select the areas of interest and only those areas selected are scanned
- for mail. The mail areas are numbered sequentially.

- SELECTING or DESELECTING AREAS

- To select or deselect areas, just type in the conference area number(s).

- Example; 1 3 4 10

- By typing the number, Xpress will toggle the selection. (If selected,
- it will be deselected. If deselected, it will be selected).

- You can force the selection or deselection by prefixing it with a +
- or - sign.

- Example; +1 -2 +3 +10

- To select all mail areas, type +*

- FINDINC AREAS OF INTEREST

- Use the F command with a keyword to search the list of available
- areas. For instance, you might be interested in areas pertaining to
- COOKING, so you might type F COOK to list the areas with this specific
- interest.
