  3. SELECTING XPRESS MAIL AREAS

  5.    In this section, you define the mail areas of interest for Silver Xpress
  6.    mail scanning.  Bulletin boards usually carry a tremendous amount of mail
  7.    areas (sometimes called conferences or forums).  But Xpress allows you to
  8.    select the areas of interest and only those areas selected are scanned
  9.    for mail.  The mail areas are numbered sequentially.

  26.   SELECTING or DESELECTING AREAS

  28.     To select or deselect areas, just type in the conference area number(s).

  30.        Example;  1 3 4 10

  32.     By typing the number, Xpress will toggle the selection. (If selected,
  33.     it will be deselected. If deselected, it will be selected).

  35.     You can force the selection or deselection by prefixing it with a +
  36.     or - sign.

  51.      Use the F command with a keyword to search the list of available
  52.      areas.  For instance, you might be interested in areas pertaining to
  53.      COOKING, so you might type F COOK to list the areas with this specific
  54.      interest.

  63.     If the BBS sysop has implemented this feature, you can type ? followed
  64.     by the area number to display an abstract about the area.
