- After the initial mail scan, Xpress will assume ALL mail will be packed for
- reading off-line. If you type GO right away, it will be the same as typing
- A and Xpress will begin packing or bundling all new messages into a Xpress
- Mail File.
-
- In Xpress, Personal Mail means mail direct to you and mail found using the
- keywords you defined in the MAIL SCANNING OPTIONS section.
-
- If this is a Maximus BBS, some of the area names are words. Surround the
- words with quotes in order to use any of the above commands. For example,
- 'WINDOWS'F40
-
- Use Flex Select Commands to change the amount of mail you will receive.
- An example Flex Select command like this:
-
- clear 10 13 14P 16D -27 GO
-
- will clear all areas first, then select 10 13 for all mail, 14 for personal,
- 16 for direct only and skip area 27. The GO means start the bundling process.
-
- NOTE MAXIMUS USERS: Use a quote around any long names, i.e., 'WINDOWS'L50
- which says grab the last 50 messages in the WINDOWS area.
- Quotes are not required for numbered areas.

-
- Some more examples:
-
- *P <cr> | Select all Personal mail.
- *P 10 14 15D <cr> | Select all areas PERSONAL and ALL in areas
- 10, 14, and direct mail in area 15.
- The single letter one-liners will do the following start packaging.
-
- A (same as *A GO) | Grab all mail and GO!
- P (same as *P GO) | Grab Personal mail and GO!
- D (same as *D GO) | Grab Direct only mail and GO!
- K (same as *K GO) | Grab Keyword only mail and GO!
-
- Combining these letters A,P,D,K with other flex select <tm> commands is
- invalid. ie,
-
- K 10 17A <--- Invalid for K but 10 and 17A will be taken.
-
- Note, the GO option must be the LAST part on a command, or the only
- part in a command.
