- FILE RATIOS
- ===========
- If you wish to enforce an upload/download ratio, you will need to
- create a RATIO file using any ASCII word processor. The format of
- the RATIO file is:
-
- LEVEL=x RATIO=y
-
- Where x=user level and y=number of uploads for each download.
- Place each level/ratio on a separate line.
-
- Example:
-
- LEVEL=50 RATIO=15
- LEVEL=90 RATIO=5
- LEVEL=100 RATIO=1
-
- Only included levels will be affected by the download ratio.
- When you have created the RATIO file, place it in the BRAINEX directory,
- which should also be the location of ROMBRAIN.EXE.

-
- Version 2 of ROMBRAIN/REQUEST now uses a simpler REQUEST.DAT format.
- Before you use this version, have your users download their requested
- files, or delete them yourself. Next, delete the old REQUEST.DAT file.
-
- When you run the maintenance option:
- Requested files that are on the online CDROM will be automatically
- copied. This means that if a user requested a file from an offline CD,
- then at some future point you have inserted that CD into the drive without
- copying their request, they will be copied when maintanence is run.
