  1. How to get your own copy of RBBS-PC!
  2.  
  3. RBBS-PC is an ALL-VOLUNTEER effort - the authors do NOT recieve money for
  4. the program, and it is distributed with COMPLETE source code and
  5. documentation, FREE of CHARGE!  Technology Consultants will mail a copy of
  6. RBBS-PC to you.  The TCI diskettes will include LATEST release of the
  7. code, FULL source code, expanded documentation and help information, and
  8. useful utilities.  To order, send your request to:

  14. To help defray the cost of diskettes, mailers and postage, please include
  15. $10. US with your order ($25. if delivery is outside the U.S.).  You may
  16. specify either 5.25" or 3.5" diskettes.

  18. The Capital PC User's group helps distribute RBBS-PC also, and they will
  19. mail you a copy.  Send $8.  (the standard CPCUG handling fee) and a
  20. self-stick return address label to:

  26. Ask for Diskette #18, RBBS-PC.  Diskette #18 contains all executable,
  27. documentation and support files needed to run your own RBBS.  If you would
  28. like the COMPLETE source code to RBBS-PC, so you can modify RBBS-PC, send
  29. an additional $8 and ask for diskette #18S.  The current PUBLIC version
  30. will be sent.  If you want to be sure to receive the proper version, make
  31. sure you speicify the version number (i.e.  RBBS-PC version 17.3C).

  33. As bugs are fixed in RBBS-PC, maintenance releases are made available to
  34. the public - CPCUG does not always have THE LATEST FIXES.  An official
  35. RBBS-PC development site is usually the best place for these updates.  To
  36. get the latest updates (either source code or executable), call:

  41. You may also be able to download RBBS-PC directly from this system.  Look
  42. in the FILE section, or ask the Sysop for information.  NOTE:  RBBS-PC is a
  43. LARGE system, and may take quite some time to download.  Consider using
  44. CPCUG rather than downloading.
