  1. MAIN Command P - Personal mail scan
  2.  
  3. RBBS-PC stores its messages in a disk file that must be loaded into memory
  4. when you log-in to the BBS.  This is done when you see the "Checking
  5. messages..." line.
  6.  
  7. This command repeats the message load, and may also display messages left
  8. by you, or addressed to you.  Messages with a "*" are private messages.
  9.  
  10. In a multi-node system, it is possible for a caller on another node to add
  11. messages to the disk file while you are logged in, in which case they are
  12. not loaded into memory on your node.  To force RBBS to reload memory from
  13. the disk file, use this command.  If you suspect that messages may have
  14. been added from another node while you have been logged-in, simply reload
  15. the message file into memory and use either the Read or Scan command to
  16. look for new mail.

  20. 1.  RBBS-PC also tells you if you have any personal mail when you log on
  21.     the system.

  23. 2.  You can read all new messages addressed TO you by using the command
  24.     "R T S" (<R>ead messages <T>o you <S>ince you were last on).
