  9. ;  COMPILING LANGUAGE FILES:
  10. ;  The text file will be compiled into a data file which is used by
  11. ;  Psych0Liner.  This process is much faster, saves memory and disk space,
  12. ;  and reduces time when Psych0Liner first boots up.  To compile the
  13. ;  language into the data file (*.PLT) use PLINER; See the docs on syntax.

  15. ;  LIMITATIONS:
  16. ;  Strings are limited to 256 characters in length regardless of MCI.  If
  17. ;  you need longer strings see the section on language extentions.
  18. ;
  19. ;  Numbers must be in chronological order.
  20. ;
  21. ;  Some of the strings are strings of characters (ie 003:YN).  These should
  22. ;  not have any MCI or colour codes added to them.  The order of the strings
  23. ;  of characters (which are used at prompts to change the key to active
  24. ;  certain functions) should *NOT* be changed.  For instance, string ### (YNQ)
  25. ;  must always have the keys in that order - the "YES" response must be the
  26. ;  first key, the "NO" response must be the second, and "QUIT" the third. So
  27. ;  in Spanish, string ### might be SNQ for Si, No, and Quitter.  When
  28. ;  replacing characters in strings like this, you must ensure the order is
  29. ;  NOT changed.  These character strings are case INSENSITIVE, so if you
  30. ;  put lowercase, they will be used as uppercase characters - so do not use
  31. ;  "A" and "a" as diffrent characters.

  33. ;  LANGUAGE EXTENTSIONS:
  34. ;  Strings starting with a @ will be displayed as files.  Files are first
  35. ;  searched for internally, and if not found then searched for externally.
