  2.  Panda Software is now accepting applications for beta testers for the new
  3.  upcoming beta cycle.

  9.      If you wish to become a beta-tester for Programs written by programers
  10.      of International Meridian Co. (IMC) you must:
  11.  
  12.      1.  Be a node in Fidonet.
  13.     *2.  Must be a registered user of the program you wish to test.
  14.      3.  Fully agree to, and comply with, the conditions laid
  15.          out in this file.
  16.      4.  Fill out this form completely and return it to the following address
  17.          via U.S Post as a signature is required.

  24.    Once your application has been received you will be contacted via
  25.  Net-Mail confirming your application. You will then be notified of when
  26.  this program will begin testing, and the proper information can be
  27.  obtained for a seamless intrigration into the beta program.

  29.    * Note: This can be waivered if and only if you meet the requirements that
  30.            are needed for the BETA team. Contact Mike McGrane via netmail for
  31.            further information.

  34.      │ ░░ Terms you must agree to before becoming a Beta Tester ░░░░░░░░░░ │

  37.   There are a few terms to which you have to fully agree with before returning
  38.  this form to IMC. These are the terms:
  39.  
  40.      [1]:    You must be a registered user of the program you wish to be a
  41.              BETA tester for. Unless pre-approved by author.
  42.  
  43.      [2]:    I agree to poll the official BETA Distribution site of IMC's for
  44.              the latest beta release of the program(s) I will be beta testing
  45.              atleast one (1) time a week.
  46.  
  47.      [3]:    I will pick up PS_BETA and PS_SUPPORT, an echo for discussion on
  48.              programs of IMC atleast 3 times a week. One (1) of these polls
  49.              can be used in conjunction with Item 2 above.

  51.      [4]:    I will have public release (non-beta) of the Program(s)
  52.              I am beta testing available for public download and FReq
  53.              by others.
  54.  
  55.      [5]:    I agree to be active in PS_BETA, and post any bugs, new feature
  56.              suggestions in PS_BETA NOT via netmail, so others can see it
  57.              and discuss it. This must be done atleast once (1) a week even
  58.              if it is to say everything is working fine.
  59.  
  60.      [6]:    I agree that I will not distribute any beta version(s) of the
  61.              program(s) I am beta testing for IMC unless approved by IMC
  62.              or the official distribution site for programs wrote by IMC.

  64.      [7]:    I agree that I will destroy all copies of beta version of
  65.              the program(s) I am testing for IMC and discontinue receiving
  66.              PS_BETA once the testing cycle is complete. Unless prior
  67.              arrangements have been made.

  69.      [8]:    I agree that I will not route PS_BETA or PS_SUPPORT to others
  70.              unless approved by a IMC representative.
  71.  
  72.      [9]:    I understand that the author nor IMC is not required to continue
  73.              develop the program(s) I am currently testing.
  74.  
  75.      [10]:   All BETA cycles will run until the program is stable and all
  76.              bugs have been found and corrected.
  77.  
  78.      [11]:   If your system goes down during the testing cycle you will have
  79.              1 week (7) days to notify the Beta Test coordinator. S/He will
  80.              attempt to send you 1 Net-Mail message about the problem. If
  81.              there is no response within 48 hours it will be considered a
  82.              voluntary drop out. Only the author can re-instate you to the
  83.              Beta-Team.

  85.      [12]:   If you will be leaving town during the testing cycle you MUST
  86.              notify the Beta Coordinator incase your system goes down. Only
  87.              then will ITEM 11 above be waivered for the period you are gone.

  91.     Note1:  Failure of any of the above will be cause for immediate removal
  92.             from the BETA team.

  94.     Note2:  New versions of the BETA program you are testing can be File
  95.             Requested (FREQ'd) early Saturday morning after 1:00am (Late
  96.             Friday night).

  102.     This form must be filled out completely any applications that are
  103.  incomplete will be put in file 13 (ie.. the trash can).  Once this
  104.  application is received you will be notified by net-mail about when the next
  105.  testing cycle starts. All testing cycles run untill they are complete which
  106.  is usually between 10 - 20 weeks.
