- ------------------ * Quick Description of each Line * -----------------
- Line1: Simulated Matrix Drive D: <MATRIX COMMAND TO ACCESS THIS DRIVE>
- Line2: Simulated Matrix Drive D: PROMPT <The prompt which will show for drive>
- Line3: Path where to store drive D: Bulletin Display files <BLT1, BLT2, etc>
- Line4: Path where to store drive D: Files Dir Text Lists <DIR1, DIR2 etc...>
- -----------------------------------------------------------------------
-
-
- !!! NOTE !!!
- THIS CONFIGURATION FILE <DRIVES.CNF> IS REQUIRED FOR THE
- MATRIX DRIVES TO WORK!
-
- ALL DISPLAY FILES REGARDING THIS DRIVE ARE CLEARLY LABELED WITH a -D at the
- end of the FILE!!! <IE MENU-D contains the DIR text command for DRIVE D:>
-
-
- * Detailed Descriptions For Each DRIVES.CNF file *
-
- Line 1: Simulated Drive Specification. Whatever you enter in this prompt
- will be the command which will access the utils on this drive.
- !!!! NOTE !!!!! You can make this a DIRECTORY or any other name
- for that matter! In any case Line 2 should be edited to reflect
- any changes so they correspond. In other words if you rather
- make this a Directory on your drive c: then enter in this line;
- "\UTIL" Then using the commands "cd c:\util" cd \util" or "
- cd c: \util" would take you to this DRIVE or DIR or maybe a different
- submenu (in case you aren't using it to simulate the dos prompt)
- In which case line 2 <Prompt for this drive / directory or submenu>
- should be c:\util>.
- This Drive / Directory includes; Sysop Matrix Maintenance Module, with Matrix
- Caller Log View / Delete functions. Msg maintenance <Kill Public
- and Sysop Feedback> are now part of the sysop module. See Matrix.Cnf
- file for additional config paramaters you need to get back on to
- C: Drive <or again whatever you choose to name it there>
-
- Line 2: Prompt you would like callers to see when accessing this drive!
- Should match line 1. IE if you named this simulated drive E: instead
- of D: then this line's prompt should read E:\> (or something similar
- instead of D:) ALSO NOTE That you may make this a DIRECTORY,
- see above for more info. This line is what callers see for a
- prompt for this Drive or Directory, and should match line 1 of this
- DRIVES.CNF File.
-
- Line 3: Drive\Path\Location where to store your bulletin text files
- NOTE! If a BLT + NUMBER <IE BLT1 - THROUGH BLT30> exists in
- this path it will be displayed to the caller. This BLT text
- file can be either a display file, or you could also call
- a PPE from within this Bulletin Display file, simply use the
- ! (+drive\path of ppe) to call a PPE.
-
- NOTE THAT the BLT?? FILES MAY BE EITHER STORED IN THIS PATH
- OR IN THE DEFAULT MATRIX PATH! IF a BLT?? IS found in either
- <the path listed here> or the Matrix Default path it will
- be displayed to the caller.
-
- Line 4: Drive\Path\Location where to store your Dir Listing files
- NOTE! If a DIR + NUMBER <IE DIR1 - THROUGH DIR30> exists in
- this path it will be displayed to the caller. This DIR text
- file is a display file and should include files you want to
- make available at the matrix prompt.
-
- NOTE THAT the DIR?? FILES MAY BE EITHER STORED IN THIS PATH
- OR IN THE DEFAULT MATRIX PATH! IF a DIR?? IS found in either
- <the path listed here> or the Matrix Default path it will
- be displayed to the caller.
