  3.      You choose your file transfer protocol here.  When you choose
  4.      [T]ransfer protocols, Markmail displays a menu of the protocols
  5.      that the sysop has configured.  Simply select the one you wish to
  6.      use, followed by <enter>.  The new protocol becomes your default.

  8.      NOTE:  When you entered Markmail the first time, your protocol was
  9.      set to NONE.  If you leave NONE as your default, or if you choose
  10.      NONE as your default, you will have to choose a protocol each and
  11.      every time you try to upload or download through the Markmail door.
