  1. DRAFT SERVICES ONLINE CHECKING SERVICE:

  4. An online "Draft" check allows you to take checking orders without actually
  5. receiving the check from the customer.  Here's how it works:
  6. If you have enabled draft services and the customer is online in InterMall
  7. and chooses to pay his/her order by a draft check, a file called CHECK1.EXE
  8. is loaded and displayed to the customer.  They then enter all information
  9. they would on a regular check, included routing #, check number, banking
  10. account, etc.  After you receive their order, all the information is 
  11. recorded on the order form.  You then take the draft check information and
  12. phone, fax, mail or send by netmail it to your draft services provider.  They
  13. then will "cut" you a check and mail to you.  This allows you to provide
  14. an affordable method in lieu of Credit Cards and capatilize on the "impulse"
  15. buy.  When choosing this method there is usually a sign up fee, etc.  For

  33. Also, take extra care of the use of this service as the customers Checking
  34. Account # is saved to a file if he/she wishes to pay by draft checking.  If
  35. you are not a SysOp then make sure the SysOp you have for your stores' home
  36. base is honest.  If you are a SysOp then you are responsible for safeguarding
  37. and not abusing the customer information as well as other SysOps if you're
  38. running INterBBS.  Compu<>Link and WoodyWare only provides the TOOL for
  39. this type of shopping and is in no way responsible if someone illegally uses
