- HOW TO UPDATE/CREATE YOU STORE INFORMATION

- To create your store information, Select STORE INFORMATION at the
- main menu of Offline Store Manager. Here you will enter Information about
- your store such as:

- Name of Store
- Owner
- Address
- Phone
- Which methods of payment you accept
- Which methods of shipment you make
-
- and more.

- AN IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT DEPARTMENTS:
- You can have up to 10 departments per store. This makes it easier
- for the online user to find the product he/she is looking for. It is
- IMPORTANT to remember that the DEPARTMENTS you list in your store MUST
- Correspond to the DEPARTMENT you give a product when adding products for
- your store. For example, if you had a Bookstore and in your STORE INFORMATION
- you had a department called SCIENCE FICTION but NOT one called SCI-FI ; you
- MUSTN'T give a product a department of SC-FI because, as you can see, they
- wouldn't match.

- YOU SHOULD NOT LEAVE ANY FIELD BLANK WHEN ENTERING INFORMATION ABOUT
- YOUR STORE.

- At the bottom during the asking of each question a box will appear
- and give you help/information about what you are entering.
- After you have entered the information, a file called
- "[your code].STR" Will be created.
- At anytime you need to update your store information, just select
- EDIT from the Store Information file in the Offline Manager and upload it
- to the BBS you have a store/business account with.
