  1. HOW DOES IT WORK
  2.  
  3.         This is probably the MOST IMPORTANT help section.  This gives you
  4. a detailed description as to how InterMall works and what YOU must do to
  5. make it work.
  6.         First, contact your SysOp and get a CODE and a PASSWORD.
  7.  
  8. CODE:  A 1 - 8 character letter that is a VALID filename.  For example, if
  9.        you ran a coffee shop then your SysOp might assign you the code of
  10.        COFFEE.  ALL your Store Data Files will be prefixed by this code.
  11.        Using Coffee for an example again, your data files would look like:
  12.        COFFEE.STR
  13.        COFFEE.DPT
  14.        And your Orders would arrive to you as COFFEE.ORD .
  15. PASSWORD: This is a 1-8 character word that the SysOp MUST give you to 
  16.        access the Online Store Manager.

  18.         After you have received your CODE and PASSWORD you're ready to get
  19. started.  When you first log in to Offline You will need to enter your CODE 
  20. so Offline will know which files to Access. From the Main Menu, The first 
  21. thing you need to enter is your STORE INFORMATION.  Select STORE
  22. INFORMATION  from the main menu.  Then answer the questions AS COMPLETELY
  23. as possible.  A file called "[your code].STR" will be created.  From the
  24. STORE INFORMATION menu you can edit, delete or list your store information.
  25. But FIRST, YOU MUST SELECT [CREATE STORE INFORMATION FILE] FROM THE STORE
  26. INFORMATION MENU.
  27.         Next, Select STORE MAINTENANCE from the MAIN MENU.  Here you will
  28. be able to Enter Your PRODUCTS or SERVICES you are selling.  You will also
  29. be able to edit your products and services from this menu.

  31.         After you have finished with store maintenance and store information,
  32. you are ready to UPLOAD them to the BBS in which you have a PASSWORD and 
  33. CODE with.  Call the BBS in which your business will be located.  Find and
  34. select the InterMall program on the BBS.  Select Store Manager from the
  35. main menu of InterMall.  It will then ask you for your code.  Enter it.  It
  36. will then ask for your password.  Enter it.  From the Store Manager menu
  37. select "UPLOAD STORE INFORMATION .STR FILE".  It will give you a choice of
  38. xmodem, ymodem or zmodem transfer.  Upload "[Your code].STR" file now.  After
  39. you have successfully uploaded your .STR file that was created by the Offline
  40. store manager; you are ready to upload your 'products file'.  Select "UPLOAD
  41. PRODUCT .DPT FILE" from the store manager menu.  It will give you a choice
  42. of xmodem, ymodem or zmodem transfer.  Upload "[Your code].DPT" file now.
  43. You now have an Online Business!  For more detailed information select
