  14.                  Bug       Attempting to save  an empty  message would  cause
  15.                            the screen to be cleared and GEdit would appear to
  16.                            be hung.  However, GEdit was still functioning, it
  17.                            just didn't  redraw the  screen.   This  has  been
  18.                            fixed.

  20.                  Bug       When using  GEdit in  local mode,  the status  bar
  21.                            would  appear  after   approximately  one   minute
  22.                            causing a  portion of  the  editing window  to  be
  23.                            concealed.  The local user would no longer be able
  24.                            to see the lower portion of window.  This has been
  25.                            fixed.

  27.                  Change    GEdit forced the .A?? files to be in the BBS  text
  28.                            files directory.  This has been changed.  Now  the
  29.                            .A?? help files can be in the text files directory
  30.                            or  the  GEDIT.EXE  directory.    The  text  files
  31.                            directory  is  checked  first,  followed  by   the
  32.                            GEDIT.EXE directory.

  34.                  Change    The registration form is now located in a seperate
  35.                            file for easier printing.

  37.                  Bug       The color setup dialog would remain on the  screen
  38.                            after pressing [Esc].   Focus would return to  the
  39.                            editing  window   and  editing   could   continue,
  40.                            however, the  setup dialog  would remain  visible.
  41.                            This has been fixed.

  43.                  Bug       The shell  to DOS,  tab,  arrow keys,  and  escape
  44.                            macros did nothing.  All of these have been  fixed
  45.                            except for escape, which has been removed from the
  46.                            list.

  48.                  Change    When using QuickBBS, the  status bar now uses  the
  49.                            color defined in the QuickBBS configuration file.

  51.                  Change    The blank line  inserted at the  beginning of  the
  52.                            quote  text  is  now  smarter  when  dealing  with
  53.                            packages that already insert the blank line.
  54.  
  55.                  Change    Removed the Novell NetWare detection as it was not
  56.                            necessary.
