  4. We believe:
  5.  
  6. The bible is the Word of God, inerrant, infallible and inspired
  7. (God-breathed) in its original autographs, a complete and final
  8. revelation of God;
  9.  
  10. In one God, personal and knowable, Who manifests Himself in the Persons:
  11. the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit;
  12.  
  13. That Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh, born of a virgin,
  14. without sin and the chosen Messiah Who will one day set up His kingdom
  15. on earth;
  16.  
  17. That Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, was buried, rose again
  18. from the dead, ascended back to heaven and will one day again return to
  19. this earth;
  20.  
  21. That all persons are sinners, guilty before God, deserving of judgment
  22. and in need of the Savior Jesus Christ our Lord;
  23.  
  24. That salvation from sin, death and hell is by God's grace, based on the
  25. work of Jesus Christ alone, and is received by faith apart from any
  26. human performance or merit;
  27.  
  28. That all believers in Jesus Christ are baptized, sealed and indwelt by
  29. the Holy Spirit and that He fills those believers who obey God and
  30. separate from sinful habits and life-styles;
  31.  
  32. That eternal life is a gift of God;
  33.  
  34. In the eternal punishment of the unbeliever and in the eternal life of
  35. the believer.

  38. For further information and detail, I think the Westminster Confession
  39. of Faith, and the larger and shorter catechism is the most eloquent
  40. statement of the protestant faith, and I accept the 1646 A.D. text as
  41. representing me.  The complete text can be obtained from most Christian
  42. bookstores and from Free Presbyterian Publications, 133 Woodlands Road,
  43. Glasgow, UK G3 6LE.  The current printing is 1990 and ISN 0 902506 08 0.
