  4. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO UPGRADERS!!!

  6. Before running the setup program for the first time, copy your old
  7. EZVERIFY.CFG file into the directory containing this version. The
  8. setup program will automatically detect which version of EZVERIFY you
  9. were running previously and convert it to the new version.  You may
  10. also want to copy over your LOCAL.EZV, NOCALL.EZV, and EZVERIFY.DUP
  11. files.

  13. REGISTERED USERS: Note that you will need to type your registration
  14.                   name and serial number into the new setup program.
  15.                   Sorry for this inconvenience, but this will be the
  16.                   last time you have to type them in!

  20. New features in EZVERIFY 1.1 include:
  21.  
  22.     * New user time limits are now read from the Ezycom configuration
  23.       based on the security level you specify.
  24.  
  25.     * Event awareness makes sure that a user's new time limit cannot
  26.       cause an event to be "missed".
  27.     
  28.     * A user's time and KB bank can be increased upon validation.
  29.  
  30.     * A custom "user comment" can be placed in the user record upon
  31.       validation.
  32.  
  33.     * User ages may be checked upon validation, and qualified users
  34.       may be given completely different access, including a different
  35.       user comment.
  36.  
  37.     * Toll callers may be given completely different access, including
  38.       a different user comment, upon validation.
  39.  
  40.     * The time of day to allow toll calls is completely configurable
  41.       for each day of the week.
  42.  
  43.     * The number of redial attempts and the delay between redials is
  44.       now configurable.

  46.     * An alternate method of hanging up, including a configurable
  47.       hangup string, is provided for older-style modems.
  48.  
  49.     * EZVERIFY can now automatically build a list of numbers that are
  50.       local to you, eventually "knowing" all of your local exchanges.
