  4. [R]..Check File Requests │ This function is used to check on the status of any
  5.                          │ offline files that you may have requested. You can
  6.                          │ then Mark the files for download or Remove them.
  7. ─────────────────────────┼─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
  8. [E]....Edit Marked Files │ This function is used to edit the list of files in
  9.                          │ the download queue. This may be handy if you have
  10.                          │ accidentally marked the wrong file, over filled the
  11.                          │ download queue, or just want to add files manually.
  12. ─────────────────────────┼─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
  13. [I]...Info On File Areas │ This function is used to show a statistical report
  14.                          │ of All, or Current File Group(s) and File Areas. The
  15.                          │ report shows the number of files in each area, total
  16.                          │ number of Megabytes, and total downloads.
  17. ─────────────────────────┼─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
  18. [A]..Create ALLFILES.ZIP │ This function is used to create a Master All Files
  19.                          │ list of All, or Tagged File Areas. This is useful
  20.                          │ if you are calling long distance and don't want to
  21.                          │ spend a lot of online time searching for a specific
  22.                          │ file. Do all of your file searching offline.
  23. ─────────────────────────┼─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
  24. [D].....Download File(s) │ This function will first take you to the Marked
  25.                          │ Files List where you can add or removes files. You
  26.                          │ will be prompted to Continue, Add File(s), Remove
  27.                          │ File(s), or Quit. When you select Continue, you
  28.                          │ will be prompted to select a File Transfer Protocol.
  29.                          │ After you select the protocol you want, all of the
  30.                          │ files in the download queue will be sent.

  32. [T]..........Text Search │ This function is used to search for a specific
  33.                          │ file by File Name, Description Keyword, or by File
  34.                          │ Date. Executing this function will display a full
  35.                          │ help screen complete with examples.
  36. ─────────────────────────┼─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
  37. [C]....Change File Group │ This function is used when you want to select a
  38.                          │ new File Group. File Groups are CD's, Data Tapes,
  39.                          │ or groups of directories on the SysOp's Hard Disk.
  40.                          │ File Groups contain multiple File Areas. You will
  41.                          │ first be presented with a list of the available
  42.                          │ File Groups with their numeric assignments, name,
  43.                          │ and online staus. You simply type the area number,
  44.                          │ press <ENTER>, and you are in a new File Group.
  45. ─────────────────────────┼─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
  46. [S].....Select File Area │ This function is used when you want to select a
  47.                          │ new File Area. This feature exactly like the File
  48.                          │ Group selection. The only difference is that you
  49.                          │ are only selecting areas rather than large groups.
  50. ─────────────────────────┼─────────────────────────────────────────────────────
  51. [>]......Incr. File Area │ These functions are a compliment to the previous
  52.                          │ menu function. Using these keys make selecting
  53. [<]......Decr. File Area │ File Areas much simpler and faster. If you want
  54.                          │ to jump up to the next File Area, just press the
  55.                          │ > key. If you want to go back, just press <. You
  56.                          │ will notice the Current File Area line at the
  57.                          │ bottom of the screen change with every keypress.

  59. [*].......Tag File Areas │ This function is probably one of the most useful
  60.                          │ ones you'll ever find in a BBS or a download door.
  61.                          │ You can Tag or Mark specific File Areas that you
  62.                          │ want to search for files in. This greatly speeds up
  63.                          │ file searches because you won't end up scanning all
  64.                          │ File Areas in every File Group. With this, you can
  65.                          │ search for the word DOOM in just the game related
  66.                          │ File Areas rather than all File Areas...One example.

  68. [L]...........List Files │ This function is used to list or display the files
  69.                          │ in the current File Area.
